Bermudez Biscuit Company Limited
Bermudez Biscuit Company Limited, founded in 1923, started a story of quality, innovation and passion. It was during this time Bermudez Biscuit Company Limited became a household name. During the Second World War, exports began to Grenada, St. Lucia, Dominica, Antigua, St. Kitts and Guyana. On June 6, 1946, the company’s premises were destroyed by fire. It was at this time that our factory was rebuilt at its present site in Mount Lambert, Trinidad.
Kiss Baking Company Limited
Kiss Baking Company Limited, the leading bread and cake manufacturing company in Trinidad and Tobago, was founded in 1976. Coehlo, a rival company, was acquired and both companies are now located in Chaguanas, Trinidad. Kiss Baking Company Limited is the home of Kiss Bread, Snack Cakes and Dessert Cakes.
Holiday Snacks Limited
Holiday Snacks Limited was acquired by the Bermudez Group in 1989. As the Caribbean’s premier manufacturer and marketer of snacks, Holiday Snacks Limited has established a distinct taste with well-known snack products such as Tortillaz Chips, Potato Chipz, Cheese Stiks, Peanuts, Cashew Nuts and Cheese Curls and Balls. A large percentage of the products manufactured are exported to thirteen markets in the Caribbean region, where they are distributed by appointed Distributors.
The West India Biscuit Company Limited – WIBISCO
Holding the title as one of the oldest established commercial bakeries in the Caribbean The West India Biscuit Company Limited started in Barbados in 1850. Today WIBISCO stands as a fully mechanised plant which exports to twenty-four markets, spanning the Caribbean, Central America, United States of America, Canada and the United Kingdom with products such as Shirley, Sodabix, Eclipse and TeaTime.
The Jamaica Biscuit Company Limited- JAMBISCO
The Jamaica Biscuit Company Limited was established in 1911 but was acquired by the Bermudez Group in May 1999. JAMBISCO, the oldest and largest biscuit company in Jamaica, manufactures a wide range of products, including Excelsior Water Crackers, Cream Crackers, Whole Wheat Crackers, Cheese Krunchies and sandwich creams. Excelsior is the flagship brand dominant among the Jamaican community and is also well known in other Caribbean countries, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.
Alimentos Bermudez S.A.
Born out of a legacy passion of Holiday Snacks, Alimentos Bermudez S.A. was established in 2010. Supporting local agriculture in Costa Rica, Alimentos Bermudez 100% natural snacks include Soldanza Plantain Chips, Soldanza Cassava Chips and Soldanza Dasheen Chips.
